University of Tasmania students aged 18 years and over are invited to complete a survey of internet users' attitudes towards viewing and distributing child pornography. The study is being conducted and funded by the University of Tasmania. You can access this survey and further information on this project via http://www.law.utas.edu.au/cpproject/survey/
The survey takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
You will be asked to give your opinions on different statements made about viewing/distributing child pornography.
Example: To what extent do you agree or disagree that it should be illegal to look at sexualized images of children online?
You will not be asked whether you have seen child pornography, shared it, or produced it. You will not be asked whether you have ever been the victim of a sexual assault.
Your participation will be anonymous and confidential. We will not collect identifying information such as IP addresses as part of this survey. A separate database that is not connected with the survey data will collect your contact details if you wish to enter the prize draw to win one of five $50 Coles Myer gift cards.
