The Creative Young Stars Program is aimed to encourage, support and celebrate creative, cultural, academic and community achievement throughout Australia by students and young people. The Australian Government has allocated $8 million to the Creative Young Stars Program. Grants of $500 are available for successful individual applicants and $3000 for successful group applications.

Each electorate will have 23 grants of $500 for individuals and four grants of $3000 for groups each financial year over two application rounds. In Round 1, MPs will award up to 12 individual and two group grants in their electorate.
