New format for National Campus Band Comp

2017 brings an incredible overhaul of Australia’s premier campus battle of the bands (previously known as National Campus Band Comp). In a brand new partnership with Hub Artist Services (Hub), the competition has turned digital with a huge range of money-can’t-buy industry experiences and networking opportunities.

1. Participants from all campuses submit their entries via the ONLINE PORTAL (Music Glue). Entries may include bands, duets and solo artists

2. A panel of industry judges assess all entries and shortlist 6 from across the country. The judging panel consists of representatives from Sony Music, Frontier Touring, Dine Alone Records, Spotify, HUB and Kennel Publishing

3. Each of the 6 finalists will:

DAY 1: attend a full-day industry conference with a customised program of professional development and

music recording with an industry mentor

DAY 2: perform live at the UNISOUNDS one-day festival event with the top 2 being selected to go through.

The 2 winners will perform again that evening before the national winner is announced at the event

4. The national winner will record their very own EP the following day
